Course Description
This practical and highly-interactive course includes real-life case studies and exercises where participants will be engaged in a series of interactive small groups and class workshops. This qualification is designed specifically for industry specialists with day-to-day safety responsibilities including managers, supervisors and health and safety advisers. The qualification focuses on operational process safety and is intended to enable candidates to apply and implement effective process safety management across all areas of their operation and throughout the world. The Certificate also highlights the importance of process safety management in the oil and gas industry.The syllabus consists of one unit (Unit IOG1) that is divided into a number of elements. The Unit is a taught unit assessed by one two-hour written examination. The examination consists of ten ?short-answer? questions and one ?long-answer? question. All questions are compulsory. Candidate scripts are marked by external examiners appointed by NEBOSH.
