FM0198-3D : Financial Modelling, Project Financing & Budgeting

This practical and highly-interactive course includes
various practical sessions and exercises. Theory
learnt will be applied using the “MS Excel”
application.
This course is designed to provide participants with a
detailed and up-to-date overview of Certificate in Project
Finance Modelling. It covers the importance of project
finance in environmental projects and stakeholder
management strategies; the project finance structures,
risk identification, assessment techniques and risk
mitigation strategies; the legal and regulatory framework
and the key components of a financial model; setting up
financial model and identifying and sourcing input data;
and forecasting project revenues, cost estimation,
financing structure and funding requirements.
During this interactive course, participants will learn the
cash flow analysis, building cash flow statements and
project cash flows over the lifecycle; the types of debt,
structure debt terms and conditions and debt service
coverage ratios (DSCR); the equity financing, return
metrics and financial ratios and metrics; the scenario and
sensitivity analysis, valuation techniques and model audit
and validation; the effective financial reporting,
visualization techniques and effective communication;
writing concise and informative executive summaries;
highlighting key findings and recommendations; and
ensuring alignment with stakeholder interests.
