This practical and highly-interactive course includes various practical sessions and exercises. Theory learnt will be applied using one of our state-of-the-art simulators.
This comprehensive course is designed to meet the stringent HSE requirements in the twenty-one century. It will address the proper HSE techniques and management required by the world-class Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, Refineries and Power companies.
The course will cover the safety awareness; safe working environment; industrial safety and its role in the workplace; key hazards that exist for employees in a hazardous industrial setting; methods to reduce the chance of injury or death at the workplace; safety methods and their effectiveness; the need for industrial accident prevention and safety procedures; and understanding of the factors which contributed to and cause hazardous conditions.
Participants of the course will be able to apply a good knowledge of accident analysis, procedures and investigations; develop an understanding of the essential elements of safety organizational procedures; investigate activities and practices which are used to develop safe working procedures and habits; carryout safety standards; and investigate safety legislation as it pertains to industrial applications.
Further, the course will also discuss the environmental management systems and ISO 14000 series; the hazardous waste management and pollution control; the potential sources of pollution in and around your plant; the technologies and systematic techniques in preventing contamination/pollution; and how to plan and deal with environmental emergencies.
