This course is designed to provide participants with a detailed and up-to-date overview of Certificate in Advanced Health and Safety Management. It covers the principles of advanced health and safety management, health and safety management systems and ISO 45001 framework and application; the health and safety leadership and governance, developing a positive safety culture and legal and regulatory compliance management; the advanced hazard identification techniques and advanced risk assessment methodologies; and the job safety analysis and task risk assessment.
Further, the course will also discuss the hierarchy of controls, critical controls, high-risk activities and operational controls; the management of change (MOC), incident and accident prevention strategies, incident reporting and classification and advanced incident investigation; the root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action management, emergency preparedness and crisis management; the occupational health risk management and chemical and hazardous substance management; and the physical and ergonomic hazards, human factors and behavioral safety.
During this interactive course, participants will learn the contractor and supply chain safety management, health and safety performance measurement and advanced health and safety auditing; the workplace inspection and assurance programs including safety communication and employee engagement; and the strategic health and safety planning, management review, continual improvement, advanced H&S leadership and action planning.
