Course Description

This practical and highly-interactive course includes various practical sessions and exercises. Theory learnt will be applied using our software tools.
This course is designed to provide participants with a detailed and up-to-date overview of Public Relations Protocol and Formal Event Excellence. It covers the importance of public relations and protocol in government and corporate environments; the principles of professional communication and corporate image, branding and reputation management; the business etiquette and executive protocol as well as diplomatic and international protocol; the stakeholder relations and VIP management, formal event planning, event protocol and ceremony management; and the event logistics and operations and mastering VIP and distinguished guest management.
During this interactive course, participants will learn the official ceremonies, public functions and media relations during formal events; the excellence in event execution, crisis communication and issue management; the public speaking and master of ceremonies (MC) skills; the post-event evaluation and continuous improvement; the emerging trends in public relations and event management; and the protocol excellence action plan by establishing organization protocol standards, building a protocol handbook, personal professional development planning and action planning for continuous improvement.
