Course Description
This course provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of ESG principles, sustainability strategies, climate-related risks, responsible governance and international reporting frameworks. It is designed for professionals responsible for integrating ESG into business strategy, risk management, operations, compliance, investment decision-making and corporate sustainability initiatives.
The course combines international standards, practical case studies, workshops, ESG assessments, climate risk analysis, reporting exercises and implementation planning to enable participants to develop practical ESG strategies aligned with global best practices.
Further, the course will also discuss the ESG and sustainable development, ESG components and global ESG frameworks and standards; the climate change and sustainability fundamentals, ESG drivers and stakeholder expectations; the environmental risk management, carbon management and greenhouse gas accounting; and the energy management and decarbonization including water stewardship and waste management.
During this interactive course, participants will learn the biodiversity and natural capital, human rights and labor standards as well as diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI); the occupational health, safety and wellbeing, community engagement and social impact; the sustainable supply chain management, corporate governance fundamentals and ethics, compliance and business integrity; the enterprise risk management, ESG reporting frameworks and ESG strategy development; the ESG integration into business operations including sustainable finance and green investment; and the digital technologies supporting ESG, emerging ESG trends and regulatory developments.
