Course Description
This practical and highly-interactive course includes real-life case studies and exercises where participants will be engaged in a series of interactive small groups and class workshops.
This course is designed to provide participants with a detailed and up-to-date overview of NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Safety Leadership Excellence. It covers the reasons for and benefits of health and safety leadership excellence; the importance of an agreed health and safety vision; the business benefits excellent health and safety leadership brings; the moral, legal and business reasons for good health and safety leadership; how leaders can gain assurance that health and safety is being managed effectively; and how good leadership can positively influence health and safety culture.
During this interactive course, participants will learn how mental short cuts, biases, habits and beliefs can influence the decision-making process; the different leadership styles including transformational, authentic, resonant and transactional; the five values and supporting foundations of the HSE’s health and safety leadership model; and how relationships with the workforce can be built by effective leadership communication.
