OVERVIEW
| COURSE TITLE | : | DE0793 : Gas Reservoir Management |
| COURSE DATE | : | Aug 31 - Sep 04 2026 |
| DURATION | : | 5 Days |
| INSTRUCTOR | : | Mr. Orlando Maceo |
| VENUE | : | Abu Dhabi, UAE |
| COURSE FEE | : | $ 8000 |
Course Description
This practical and highly-interactive course includes various practical sessions and exercises. Theory learnt will be applied using our state-of-the-art simulators.
This course is designed to provide participants with a detailed and up-to-date overview of gas field reservoir management. It covers the gas reservoir fluid properties, gas condensate sampling and laboratory reports; the gas reservoir fluid flow and well testing; the deliverability of test and non-darcy flow; testing for hydraulically fractured wells; the horizontal wells and gas condensate reservoirs; determining original gas-in-place; the material balance techniques for various drive mechanisms and reservoir types; the alternate plotting techniques; the production decline type curves; and the gas flow in wellbores and pipelines.
During this interactive course, participants will learn the gas production system; the pressure drop in wellbores and flowlines; the restrictions to gas production; predicting future performance and ultimate recovery; the decline curves, coupled material balance and deliverability techniques; the reservoir simulation, gas well spacing and infill drilling; the reservoir management of water-drive gas reservoirs; predicting gas condensate reservoir performance; and the coalbed methane reservoirs.
