This practical and highly-interactive course includes
real-life case studies and exercises where participants
will be engaged in a series of interactive small groups
and class workshops.
This course is designed to provide participants with a
detailed and up-to-date overview of Certified Internal
Auditor (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 17025, ISO 45001, RC
14001, HACCP & IFA). It covers the internal auditing and
management systems; the quality management systems,
environmental management systems and occupational
health and safety management systems in accordance with
ISO 9001, ISO 1400, and ISO 45001 standards; the
integrated management system (IMS) framework, internal
audit principles and auditor responsibilities; the ISO/IEC
17025 laboratory management requirements, auditing
ISO/IEC 17025 technical requirements and RC 14001
responsible care management system; and the HACCP
principles and food safety controls, auditing HACCP
systems, IFA requirements and audit considerations.
During this interactive course, participants will learn the ISO
19011 guidelines for management-system auditing and riskbased
thinking across management systems; the internal
audit programme, defining audit scope, objectives and
criteria, audit planning and document review; developing
audit checklists and working documents and conducting the
opening meeting; the auditor interviewing and
communication techniques, collecting and verifying
objective evidence, process-based auditing and audit trails;
evaluating conformity and identifying findings, writing
effective nonconformity statements and classifying review of
audit findings; the root cause analysis, corrective action and
audit reporting; and closing meeting, following-up,
verification and continual improvement.
