RE0185 : Operation and Maintenance of Oil and Gas Processing Facilities

This course is designed to provide participants with a detailed and up-to-date overview on the Operation & Maintenance of Oil & Gas Processing Facilities. It covers the process flow and operating philosophy and key processing units and functions; the basic operating parameters and limits, cost drivers in operation, operator roles, shift management and documentation; the type of maintenance in oil and gas facilities, equipment inspection and condition monitoring; the maintenance planning and scheduling, corrosion and erosion management and reducing maintenance costs; the documentation and maintenance records; and troubleshooting of pumps, compressor, heat exchangers, separators, vessels and gas treatment units. 

 

 

During this interactive course, participants will learn the instrumentation and control problems and root cause analysis techniques; the energy efficiency in facilities and chemical usage optimization; the process optimization techniques and utilities optimization; the downtime reduction strategies, KPI monitoring, performance tracking and process safety management (PSM); and the emergency response and abnormal situations, environmental and compliance management and best practices for sustainable operations.
