Course Description
This course is designed to provide participants with a detailed and up-to-date overview of Asset Integrity Management (AIM) & Asset Lifecycle/Extension Management (ALEM). It covers the asset integrity management (AIM), principles of asset lifecycle management (ALM / ALEM) and AIM framework and industry standards; the risk-based approach to integrity management, integrity management system (IMS) structure and mechanical integrity and inspection strategies; and the structural and civil integrity, pipeline integrity management (PIM) and instrumentation, electrical and control systems integrity.
Further, the course will also discuss the data management and digitalization in AIM and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM); the failure mechanisms and root cause analysis (RCA); the condition-based monitoring (CBM) and predictive maintenance (PdM); the risk-based maintenance (RBM) and prioritization, lifecycle cost analysis (LCCA) and economic evaluation; the integrity management programs (IMPs) and fitness-forservice (FFS); and the remaining life assessment (RLA) and asset life extension methodology (ALEM).
During this interactive course, participants will learn the degradation mechanisms and monitoring programs, integrity intervention and repair strategies; the governance and organizational structure for AIM/ALEM; the performance measurement and KPI dashboards, auditing, compliance and continuous improvement; integrating AIM and ALEM with digital transformation and developing long-term AIM/ALEM strategy; the risk-based capital planning, budget prioritization and integrating AIM with asset management plan (AMP); and the stakeholder engagement and communication strategies.
