COURSE OVERVIEW

 his practical and highly-interactive course includes real-life case studies and exercises where participants will be engaged in a series of interactive small groups and class workshops.

This course is designed to provide participants with a detailed and up-to-date overview of recovery strategy development. It covers the importance of having a recovery strategy in place for business, organizations and individual in case of a disaster or crisis; the different types of recovery strategies covering disaster recovery and business continuity; the risk assessment and analysis; the identification and assessment of potential threats and hazards to the organization; and the use of risk management tools and techniques for evaluating and mitigating risks. 

During this interactive course, participants will learn the recovery planning; the development of recovery plans, procedure and protocols; the use of incident management and crisis communication plans for managing and responding to disasters and crises; the recovery testing and exercises; the use of tabletop exercises, simulation, drills to test and evaluate the effectiveness of recovery plans; and the use of metrics and performance indicators for measuring recovery readiness.
