Course Description

 This practical and highly-interactive course includes real-life case studies and exercises where participants will be engaged in a series of interactive small groups and class workshops. This course is designed to provide participants with a detailed and up-to-date overview of Investment Relationship Management. It covers the importance and key components of investment relationship management; the different types of investors and investment preferences of different investors; how to categorize investors and building strong relationships with investors; the communication strategies for maintaining relationships; the importance of trust and transparency in relationships; the investment analysis and due diligence; the key factors to consider in investment analysis; the types of investment offerings; the differences between equity and debt offerings; and how to structure an investment offering. Further, the course will also discuss the regulatory compliance, securities laws and regulations; the compliance requirements for investment offerings; the best practices for investor reporting and managing investor expectations; the strategies for communicating with investors during challenging times and addressing investor concerns; managing investor relations during mergers and acquisitions; and communicating changes to investors during M&A. 
 During the interactive course, participants will learn the valuation and performance metrics; the investor relations tools and technology; the best practices for using IR tools and technology and for preparing for investor meetings; the crisis management, investor relations, social media and stakeholder management; the corporate social responsibility (CSR) and investor relations; the international investor relations, crisis communication and media relations; and creating an investor relations plan and the effectiveness of investor relations.
