COURSE OVERVIEW

Course Description

This practical and highly-interactive course includes real-life case studies and exercises where participants will be engaged in a series of interactive small groups and class workshops The course is designed to provide delegates with proper knowledge on the survey, inspection and repair of vessel hull and machinery. It will discuss the importance of IMO resolutions and guidelines on survey and certifications. Participants will be able to identify the various types of inspections including classification societies, recognized organizations, port state control and vetting as well as to practice the class inspection for deck, hull, tanks, holds and engine. Further, the course will also identify the recognized organizations in inspection and audits for vessel documentation, deck, tanks, holds, engine, DOC, ISM and ISPS.; carryout port state control inspections and vetting inspections; and perform the inspection and reparation on holds and hull damages.

30 % Lectures
20 % Workshops & Work Presentations
20 % Case Studies & Practical Exercises
30 % Videos, Software & Simulators

If this course is delivered online as a Virtual Training, the following limitations will be applicable:
