COURSE OVERVIEW

Course Description

This practical and highly-interactive course includes real-life case studies and exercises where participants will be engaged in a series of interactive small groups and class workshops. This course is designed to provide participants with a detailed and up-to-date overview of PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA). It covers the review of business problem or opportunity using problem and opportunity analysis techniques; collecting and analyzing information from a variety of sources using valuation tools and techniques; and the collaboration of the development of project goals and objectives by providing, clarification of business needs and solution scope. Further, this course will also discuss the identification of stakeholders and stakeholder values; reviewing business case, defining strategy for requirements traceability and developing requirements management plan; selecting methods for requirements change control and document control; the business metrics and acceptance criteria; the identification, analysis, decomposition and elaboration requirements; evaluating product options and capabilities; and allocating accepted or deferred requirements.During this interactive course, participants will learn to obtain sign-off on requirements baseline using decision-making techniques; write requirements specifications, validate requirements using tools and techniques and elaborate and specify detailed metrics and acceptance criteria; track and monitor requirements; update and communicate requirement?s status and manage changes to requirements; validate the solutions test results; analyze and communicate the solutions identified gaps; obtain stakeholder signoff on the developed solution; and evaluate the deployed solution using valuation techniques.
