Course Description
This practical and highly-interactive course includes real-life case studies where participants will be engaged in a series of interactive small groups and class workshop. This course is designed to provide participants with a detailed and up-to-date overview of HSSE Management Systems (Security).It covers the international, national and local security management standards and regulations; the potential security threats and vulnerabilities and conduct security risk assessments; the physical security management, access control, surveillance and intrusion detection systems; the importance of perimeter security and security barriers; the data protection, network security and cybersecurity including information security, insider threats and social engineering attacks; and the operational security management, business continuity, disaster recovery and emergency response. During this interactive course, participants will learn the incident management and response planning; managing supply chain security and vendor risk; the legal and ethical considerations in security management; managing compliance and regulatory requirements; the ethical standards in security management, ethical dilemmas and conflicts of interest; the leadership styles and techniques and effective communication with stakeholders; the importance of performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs); the security management performance and effectiveness; and the importance of continuous improvement and optimization of security management programs
