Course Description
This course is designed to provide participants with a detailed and an up-to-date overview of Gas and Steam Turbine Performance and Test Procedures Certification. It covers the basic principles of turbines, types and their applications; designing and operating principles of gas and steam turbines; the key performance parameters for gas and steam turbines; the safety measures while dealing with turbines; the key performance parameters of gas and steam turbines; calculate methods and techniques of gas and steam turbine efficiency; and the performance charts and curves for gas and steam turbines.
During this interactive course, participants will learn the factors causing performance losses in gas and steam turbines; identifying and rectifying techniques of performance issues; analyze gas and steam turbine performance; the importance and objectives of turbine testing; the implement standard procedures and performance testing for gas and steam turbines; and the routine maintenance tasks for turbines and predictive and preventive maintenance techniques.
