Course Description

This practical and highly-interactive course includes various practical sessions and exercises. Theory learnt will be applied using the ?Microsoft Power BI? application. Power BI is a robust business analytics and visualization tool from Microsoft that helps data professionals bring their data to life and tell more meaningful stores. This course is a guide to working with data in Power BI and is perfect for professionals. You will become confident in working with data, creating data visualizations, and preparing reports and dashboards. This course is designed to provide participants with a detailed and up-to-date overview of data analysis and reporting using Power BI. It covers the extent of Power BI and turning of data into business insights; the key benefits and differentiators of Power BI including the types of data; the VAnArdsel, Power BI data model, Power BI data flow and exploration of data set; the basic data modelling and designing of a good data model; the Power BI advanced data modelling and basic data modelling; the Power BI desktop internals, DAX calculated columns and measures, DAX level set, Dax foundations and DAX evaluation contexts; and the advanced DAX time intelligence functions and Power BI support resources. link to course overview PDF

If this course is delivered online as a Virtual Training, the following limitations will be applicable

Certificates: Only soft copy certificates will be issued to participants through Haward’s Portal. This includes Wallet Card Certificates if applicable
Training Materials: Only soft copy Training Materials (PDF format) will be issued to participant through the Virtual Training Platform
Training Methodology: 80% of the program will be theory and 20% will be practical sessions, exercises, case studies, simulators or videos
Training Program: The training will be for 4 hours per day starting at 09:30 and ending at 13:30
