Mr. Mohamed Hussein

Mr. Mohamed Hussein is a Senior Petroleum Engineer with over 25 years of extensive industrial experience in the Oil & Gas industry. His expertise include Subsurface Production Operations, Drilling Fluids, Drilling Operation Management, HPHT Well Completion Design, Well Testing Design, ESP Application and Reservoir Engineering. He is a Registered Consultant in Petroleum Engineering and is currently the Deputy Field General Manager of one of the major integrated Oil & Gas Companies in the Middle East where he is in charge of troubleshooting ESP wells, apply drilling fluids procedures along with HSE, risk assessment and loss control regulations to manage the safe and efficient field operations.

Earlier in his career life, Mr. Mohamed worked as a Production Manager, Engineering Manager, Section Head of Production Technology and Petroleum Engineer. He has worked with different type of Rigs at both onshore and offshore fields such as Tender Ship Rigs, Semi Submersible Rigs, Drill Ship Rigs, Jack Up Rigs and Land Rigs.

Mr. Mohamed has a Bachelor degree in Petroleum Engineering and a Production Technology Award from Texas University, USA. He is also holding a Consultant Engineer Certificate in the field of Production and Reservoir Engineering and he is a distinguished member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
