Mr. Richard Overman, MSc, BSc, CMRP, CRL, is a Senior Maintenance & Reliability Engineer with over 30 years of industrial experience in Oil, Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical and Nuclear industries. His wide expertise includes Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Failure Modes, Effects, & Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability Engineering Analysis (RE), RCM Processes including the NAVAIR RCM process, RCMII, and the VRCM process, all of which have the MSG-3 process; Maintenance Engineering Analysis, Life-Cycle Cost Analysis (LCC), Availability Analysis and PdM Technologies (IR, Vibe, UE). Further, he is also well-versed in Organizational Structural Design, Hazard Analysis, Prioritization Analysis, Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), Project Management, Program Management, Presentation, Training & Group Facilitation, Coaching & Mentoring, Pumps of all types, Pressure Vessels, Valves, Tanks, Hydraulic & Pneumatic equipment, Piping, Compressors, Structural members, Jet & Diesel Engines, Couplings, Motors, Aviation, Iron Ore Processing, Phosphate Mining, Pharmaceutical, Aluminium Smelting, Nuclear Fuels Processing, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, RCM Cost, VRCMS, Adobe Acrobat, Availability Workbench and various CMMS Software. During his career life, Mr. Overman gained his practical and field experience through his various significant positions and dedication as the Consultant, Chief Reliability-Centered Maintenance Engineer, Coordinator of Technologies, Independent Practitioner, Aerospace Engineer and Machinist Mate for numerous international companies such as the Allied Reliability, Wyle Laboratories, Aladon Network, Naval Aviation Depot and Nuclear Submarine Force of United States Navy.


Mr. Overman has a Master degree in Education and a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Institute for Creation Research and the University of Memphis, respectively. Further, he is a Certified Instructor/Trainer, a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP), a Certified NAVAIR RCM Level 3 Instructor, a Certified Aladon RCMII Practitioner and a Certified Advanced Toastmaster. Moreover, Mr. Overman is an active member of the Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP), the Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals Certifying Organization (SMRPCO), the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
