Dr. John Louw, PhD, MSc, BSc, is a Senior HR & Management Consultant with over 45 years of extensive experience. During his career life, Dr. Louw has gained his experience through his various significant positions and dedication as the Professor of Industrial Psychology & Human Resource Management, Senior Lecturer of various universities, Senior Training Officer, Researcher and Supervisor. In his consulting and community services, he administered various projects in HRM including psychometrics, company orientation, selection, job descriptions, performance evaluation, pay systems, etc. as well as providing training to the Trainers and group Directors for the Department of Education. He has further extensive experience in research supervising the Masters and Doctoral students’ dissertations as well as for being the external examiner of Masters and Doctoral students from various universities and finally, initiating and completing various research projects.
Dr. Louw has a PhD and Master degrees in Industrial Psychology and a Bachelor degree with Honours in Commerce from the University of Freestate. Further, he has Mine Managers’ Certificate from the Government Certificate of Competency for Mining Engineers and he is a Registered Industrial Psychologist, a Registered Assessor/Moderator and a Certified Instructor/Trainer. He has also published numerous papers internationally and delivered various international conferences
