Dr. Yasser Ellethy

Dr. Yasser Ellethy, PhD, MSc, BSc, is a Senior Welding Engineer with over 20 years of extensive experience in the areas of Welding & Fabrication Technology; Welding Metallurgy; Non-Destructive Testing (NDT); ASME Codes & Regulations; Metal Joining & Cutting Processes; Weld Joint Geometry & Welding Symbols; Metal Properties as well as Pipeline & Piping System; He is also well-versed in Nuclear Research Reactors & Technology; Preventive, Corrective and Predictive activities in the mechanical systems and equipments such as Pumps, Compressors, Boilers, Water-Chillers, Air-Handling Units, Cooling Towers, Valves, Filters, Bridge and Cranes; Bearing Technology; Steels Heat Treatment; the Operation & Maintenance of Anemometer, Thermo Hydrometer, Electronic Balometer, Pressure Difference, Temperature Dew Point; HVAC Instruments and Quality Control of Coblt-60 Radioisotope.

Dr. Yasser is currently the Mechanical Maintenance Chief, Quality Assurance Head & WeIding Inspector of the Atomic Energy Authority (AEA). Prior to this, he was the QA/QC Officer for the same company and he has been actively delivering trainings & courses internationally at the same time.

Dr. Yasser has PhD and Master degrees in Metallurgical Engineering, a Bachelor degree in Production Engineering and a High Studies Diploma in Industrial Engineering.  He is also a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI-AWS) from the American Welding Society. Further, he is an active member of the Society of Mechanical Engineers, the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), the American Welding Society (AWS), Egyptian Engineers Syndicate and the International Association for Structural Mechanics in Reactor Technology (IASMIRT).
