Mr. Yasser Ibrahim

Mr. Yasser Ibrahim is a Senior Pipeline & Piping Engineer with over 25 years of practical experience within the Petrochemical, Oil & Gas industries.  His expertise includes Pipeline and Piping Design, Construction, Inspection, Pigging, Maintenance, Repair & Integrity Assessment; Fitness-For-Service (FFS); Piping Fabrication; Pressure Equipments and Pressure Vessels (ASME VIII & API 510) NDE; Welding Inspection; Metallurgy Engineering; Quality Assurance; Storage Tank; Tank Erection; Piles Rolling; Boiler Maintenance; Pressure Test, Hydro Test & Pneumatic Test; Film Interpretation and Drilling Pipes Inspection. He is also well-versed and an expert with ASME B31.3, API, ASNT, TWI, ISO, QMS, saddle fabrications, shut-down operations, performance monitoring, site inspection, line maintenance and rehabilitation along with project management. He is currently the Quality Assurance & Quality Control Engineer of GLND and the Senior Lead Auditor of SQA in the USA.

Throughout his career life, Mr. Yasser has provided significant contributions to the companies he has worked with, having filled key positions such as being the Quality Control Engineer, Welding Coordinator Deputy, Welding Inspector, Quality Assurance, QC & Welding Inspector, QC Welding & Paining Inspector, QMS Auditor, QC Engineer, Welding and NDE Inspector and Engineer for numerous international companies like the GLND, SQA, KJO, KTI, QAPCO, SGS, RASGAS, UHDE, Snamprogetti, Germanischer Lloyd and the International Company for Industrial Development (DEVCO) just to name a few.

Mr. Yasser has a Bachelor degree in Engineering. Further, he is a Certified Senior CSWIP of the TWI, Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) of the American Welding Society (AWS), a Certified API 570 Piping Inspector, Certified API 653 Tank Inspector, Certified API 510 Pressure Vessels Inspector of the American Petroleum Institute (API) and a Certified Lead Auditor for QMS (ISO 9001-2008) as well as a Certified Level II Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Testing (MT) and Penetrant Testing (PT) of the American Society For Nondestructive Testing (ASNT).
