Dr. Kevin Kendell

Dr. Kevin Kendell, PhD, BSc, is an International Expert in Corrosion & Cathodic Protection with over 30 years of extensive experience in Corrosion Protection Systems, Corrosion Survey & udits as well as design supply, installation, commissioning and audit of Cathodic Protection Systems for Reinforced Concrete Structures, Metal Structures, Underground & Steel Structure, Water Tanks, Seawater Basins, Sewage Treatment Plant Structures, Power Plant, Pipeline Networks, New Seawater Cooling Structures . He is currently the Technical Manager of the Cathodic Protection Company wherein he is responsible for the corrosion surveys, reporting, specification writing, designs, design reviews, preparation of bidding documents, supervision/control of installations, commissioning and operating Corrosion Protection Systems.

During his career life, Dr. Kendell has gained his technical and practical expertise through various challenging and key positions such as the General Manager, Regional Project Manager, Technical & Marketing Manager, Concrete Projects Manager, Technical Manager, Project Manager, Consulting Engineer, Senior Project Engineer and Project Engineer. The international companies where he handled multiple projects  throughout the Europe, Australia, the Middle East and Asian regions are Raychem UK Ltd. Qatar Petroleum (QP), ADGAS, TAKREER, Mirfa Power Company, FEWA, MAFRAQ Municipality, Ministry of Electricity and Water in Bahrain & Saudi, Ministry of Works and Agriculture in Bahrain, Bahrain Civil Aviation Authority, Saline Water Conversion Company, PETROKEMYA, SHARQ, SAMREF, YANPET, KEMYA, HADEED, SCECO, Saudi Methanol Company ARRAZI, Saudi Petrochemical Company (IBN-ZAHR), National Industrial Company, PEMREF, SAMAREC-YANREF, APICORP, SAMA, Royal Commission Yanbu & Jubail,   GHAZLAN Power Plant.

Dr. Kendell has PhD in Corrosion Remediation and a Bachelor degree in Applied Chemistry with Honours. He is an active member of the Institute of Corrosion and the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE). Further, he has internationally published more than 50 papers and delivered numerous conference proceedings on the subject of corrosion, concrete deterioration and cathodic protection.
