Mr. Mohamed Zaki

Mr. Mohamed Zaki is a Senior Inspection Engineer with over 20 years of extensive experience in the Offshore & Onshore Oil & Gas, Petroleum Refineries, Petrochemical and Inspection & Construction fields. His exposure evolves in pipelines, piping systems, tanks, pressure vessels, steel structure and equipment in accordance with applicable international codes, standards and specifications such as ASME, ANSI, API, AWS, ASTM, DIN, BS, EN, etc. He has further intensive experience in Metallurgy and Corrosion, qualifying welding procedures and welders qualifications for various materials, consumables and several welding processes as well in NDT procedures construction and review.  He is currently the Project QA/QC & Inspection Manager of Petroleum Pipelines Company (PPC).

Mr. Mohamed is a certified ASNT Level III in Magnetic Particles Testing, Liquid Penetrant Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, Radiography Testing, Visual Testing, certified Welding Inspector (CWI), former certified Piping Inspector (API-570) and an Authorized Saudi Aramco inspector for piping, pipelines and pressure vessels. He is further a certified trainer for pipeline construction, pipeline maintenance & inspection for maintenance, welding technology & inspection, material verification & selection, tank construction & inspection.

Mr. Mohamed has acquired his expertise through vast offshore & onshore experience that occupied challenging positions such as Project QA/QC & Inspection Manager, Hot Tapping Specialist, QA\QC Team Leader, Senior Inspection Engineer, Inspection Engineer and Project QC Superintendent for numerous international companies and that has proven his significant contributions with his formidable reputation and professionalism to his fields.

Mr. Mohamed has a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and Diploma in Pipeline Design and Welding Technology.  He actively maintains his affiliations with professional organizations such as the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), American Welding Society (AWS), The Welding Institute (TWI), American Petroleum Institute (API), American National Standards Institute (ANSI), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), American Society for Testing & Materials (ASTM) and the American Society for Non-Destructive Testing (ASNT).
