Mr. Mamdouh Al-Aidarous

Mr. Mamdouh Al-Aidarous, MSc, BSc, is the Chairman of the Vibration Institute (USA) with over 25 years of extensive experience in Machinery Vibration, Piping Vibration, Vibration Measurement & Diagnosis, Rotating Equipment Reliability, Condition Based Monitoring, Preventive & Predictive Maintenance and Dynamics of Machines. 

During Mr. Mamdouh’s career life, he has occupied various key positions in several companies such as a Vibration Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Operation Engineer, Maintenance Supervisor, Preventive Maintenance & Fault Analysis Engineer, Commissioning Engineer and Rotating Equipment Engineer.  He has shared his expertise and worked in different industries such as in Gas Plants, Water Injection Plants, Gas Oil Separation Plants and Refineries. He has further extensive industrial experience working with rotating and stationery machinery repair, operation, performance and design as well as troubleshooting of many chronic vibration problems for pumps, compressors, steam turbines, gearboxes and piping.

Mr. Mamdouh has Master and Bachelor degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Petroleum and Minerals. Further, he is the First Certified Vibration Institute Specialist-IV (ISO 18436) in the Middle East (1997)Prior to becoming the Chairman of the Vibration Institute (USA), he was a Board Member and Certification Committee Member. Moreover, he is an active member of ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers).
