Course Description

This practical and highly-interactive course includes real-life case studies and exercises where participants will be engaged in a series of interactive small groups and class workshops. This course is designed to provide participants with a detailed and up-to-date overview of Supervising Security Operation Team. It covers the security operations team roles and responsibilities; the importance of effective security operations management, security risks and threats; the leadership skills for security operations managers; the key leadership qualities for effective security management; the security operations policies; the physical security planning and management; the threats and risks, physical security plan and operations; the security technology and tools; and the incident response planning and management. During this interactive course, participants will learn the security risks management, personnel security management, crisis management and information security management; the security audit and compliance management strategies; the security incident investigations plan, security awareness and training programs; the vendor and contractor management, physical security operations and information security operations; the security operations reporting and metrics; the security operations budgets, resources and operations planning continuity; the areas for improvement in security operations management; and the plan for ongoing improvement and development. link to course overview PDF

If this course is delivered online as a Virtual Training, the following limitations will be applicable

Certificates: Only soft copy certificates will be issued to participants through Haward’s Portal. This includes Wallet Card Certificates if applicable

Training Methodology: 80% of the program will be theory and 20% will be practical sessions, exercises, case studies, simulators or videos
Training Program: The training will be for 4 hours per day starting at 09:30 and ending at 13:30

Simulators: Only software simulators will be used in the virtual courses. Hardware simulators are not applicable and will not be used in Virtual Training
