Course Description

This practical and highly-interactive course includes real-life case studies and exercises where participants will be engaged in a series of interactive small groups and class workshops. This course is designed to provide the participants with an up-to-date knowledge on the certified information security manager. The course will discuss the information security covering the security management concepts, principles and responsibilities; the information security governance that includes the basic design fundamentals and philosophies, critical considerations and their relationship to business strategies, assessing and planning; the corporate security governance as well as its organization structure, responsibility, trust & regulation and security policies; carryout the information security management covering the operational, tactical & strategic management initiatives, information security life cycle and security law & cyber knowledge. The course will also discuss the network security, OSI security architecture, security attacks and services & mechanisms; apply communications & networking security and network management security; cryptology, symmetric encryption & public-key cryptography; implement authentication applications and electronic mail security; employ IP & web security, information systems security and operating systems and networks.At the completion of the course, participants will be able to carryout protocols, routing and business continuity management; the network forensics that includes incident response management, computer forensics, evidence issues, types of evidence, life cycle and chain of custody as well as manage organizations securely and apply outsourcing security

If this course is delivered online as a Virtual Training, the following limitations will be applicable

Certificates: Only soft copy certificates will be issued to participants through Haward’s Portal. This includes Wallet Card Certificates if applicable
Training Materials: Only soft copy Training Materials (PDF format) will be issued to participant through the Virtual Training Platform
Training Methodology: 80% of the program will be theory and 20% will be practical sessions, exercises, case studies, simulators or videos
Training Program: The training will be for 4 hours per day starting at 09:30 and ending at 13:30
